Secrets From the Ages

Chapter 10

Who the Players are

After reading as far as you have, you must have a good idea who the Players are by now. The Players are all perfect, infinite, Gods. They cannot be otherwise, for only infinite Gods can play this game of the DRAMA. This universe is not infinite. It has a beginning and an end. But the Players are all infinite. They exist in eternity and they are infinite in eternity.

The Players are not made of space, time, energy, or matter. Those are the things of this universe, which is a game existing in eternity. When an infinite God enters this universe he creates a mind that contains the agreements of this universe, or many minds if he wants a good game. In this universe he uses that mind to compute and think about this universe within the agreements of the game of DRAMA.

The matter of this universe is solid because there is an agreement in the Player's mind. The Player agrees that matter is solid. There are agreements to all of the rules of this universe. There are something like twelve primary laws of gravity, centrifugal force, and light and then 180 secondary agreements that science tries to uncover by looking at the results of our agreements, not our agreements, but the results of our agreements. The universe (the game of DRAMA) is the result of all the rules and many more. The universe is the result of the rules in God's mind which is also our mind.

The Players agrees to see what everyone else calls a table and thus we see it. We agree that it is made of billions of tiny atoms with electrons spinning around the nucleus and we agree to all of the rules that say that bundles of energy called protons speed out through space and hit the table and bounce back to our eyes, and that these bundles of energy can influence the particles in the nerves of our eyes. It's all a game that God is playing. It's a Disney Land for God.

Within this universe there is space only because God agrees that such a thing as space exists. Outside this universe there is no space, only eternity. Do you think another universe exists somewhere else, maybe a distance from this universe? That would mean that there is space outside this universe. No, the tens or hundreds or thousands of other universes exist as agreements only. They do not exist in a space at all. The agreements create the space in which they exist, but that is nowhere. The space only exists because the players agree to pretend that it exists. Each of the universes only exist because the Players there (as view points of the one God) have made up that particular game and the rules there.

The Players (viewpoints), outside of the games are Gods or are God. Both ideas are correct. They simply are. They exist in eternity. They cannot be less than perfect as there is no way to be less than what they are. Only the characters that they pretend to be in the games that they play are less than perfect, because they pretend that they are less than perfect as a result of rule #5 which says all things in this universe must have a cause. Outside of this universe there is only eternity, nothing else. There is no way to evaluate a God against eternity. The infinite God is not made of anything. He is nothing, and nothing cannot be less than perfect.

About Moving Around Without a Physical Body: There has been much talk among spiritual people of many different philosophies concerning ideas of existing separately from the body. Gautama Siddhartha, the founder of one of the worlds largest religions, found himself separated from his body one day while sitting under a tree. That religion was mostly founded upon that single ability. Millions of people have tried to separate from their bodies during life ever since then.

Separating from one's body in this lifetime seems to be the goal or at least one of the goals of many philosophies and religions. People spend years in monasteries, have themselves hypnotized and try self hypnosis, and do a thousand different things seeking to separate themselves from their bodies while alive and in this life. Over a period of fifty years, after traveling to many foreign countries and searching through the literature, I have not found a single person who can prove that they can do this sort of thing and who have been able to retain this ability.

If people can do this, they don't prove it for some reason or the other. There are many people who claim it, and maybe they do, but they are unable to prove it. The religion of Scientology has many people who seem to have separated from their body once or twice. They call it exteriorization. Of course, there is no proof, but many have testified that they did do it.

There are books describing separation from the body at the point of death or near death. Proof is lacking, but we are willing to admit that it could be. Separation from the body is possible, but the spiritual world has not gone about it correctly. You, as an Viewpoint of God, are not in a body, nor are you even in this universe. You are a God merely observing this universe and your body. How can you "get out of" something that you are not in. It's an impossibility.

You might be able to observe the universe in your area from a different point of view than your body, but that is another thing. That is not "getting out of" nor exteriorization, nor separation from the body. That is merely observing the universe from a different point of view. You can probably do that once you learn how. Another look at what we have already talked about is the fact that this universe is a type of dream that we are all creating together. It is a combined dream of all of us. We dream together according to the rules of the game.

We assume that the vast majority of the people who experience "being out of the body" have in reality, simply moved their point of view. It is not well understood and thus not done very often. Many of those who have reported being separated from their bodies have also reported a great detachment from life, from the situation that was happening. The detachment seems to be too great to actually play the game of life. It may be great to have such feelings of relief from the stresses of life, and sometimes it may even give a person time to overcome an extremely stressful situation.

However, the detachment of being separated from ones body appears to be far too severe to play the game of life. Many people report not wanting to return to the body. I have been able to personally contact a few people who have moved out of their bodies, and even two who could do it knowingly whenever they wished. Those people both lost their abilities to do this when they tried to do it for personal gain.

There are reports of people who could do this kind of thing at will, but out of billions of people who cannot, there are a very few who can. That is not a very good ratio. There may be more reports of success when people begin to try to change their point of view rather than exteriorize from the body. In analyzing the game up to this point, it appears to be an agreement to play the game from a body. When one detaches his attention from his body he tends to detach from the game being played. It helps to the extent that one realizes that he is not a body, but often hinders because one loses the importance of playing the game. When it becomes unimportant, one goes elsewhere.
